Jaime E. Galvez
In 2025, Jaime founded The Economic Development & Government Engagement (EDGE), LLC to utilize his extensive expertise in government acquisition and contracting to offer tailored services to support organizational goals and objectives.
Jaime has over 25 years of experience in acquisition and contracting across the Federal and local government sectors, including 23 years of dedicated service with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), his most recent role being a Division Director and Contracting Officer in the Office of Acquisition and Grants Management. Throughout his tenure at CMS, he managed key contracts from inception to completion (cradle-to-grave), across a range of goods, services and Information technology, with a portfolio valued at approximately $2.4 billion. Developed and implemented dozens of continuous improvement initiatives that streamlined processes, improved customer satisfaction, and increased efficiency by delivering clear, actionable solutions to complex acquisition challenges. Developed some of the most innovative procurement solutions saving taxpayers millions of dollars and thousands of labor hours.
Jaime served in the U.S. Navy for nine years as a Hospital Corpsman (Medical Lab Technician). His training included instruction from the Navy and Army, and he spent three years serving with the Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital during war time.
Jaime Earned a Master of Public Administration from Troy State University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Through examination with the National Contract Management Association, Jaime earned the designation of Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) and Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM).
